Bethany Carter-Sherlock holds a BA Ed., BA Soc. Sc. (Psych), DipMus, AmusA (Voice) and MMus. She has many years of teaching experience in ensemble, classroom and studio contexts at MitCon and in schools, and is a performer of harp, voice and piano. As a pedal harpist, Bethany has contributed to orchestras such as the ADO and the MacPhil Orchestra, and has delivered multiple solo performances. As a vocalist, recent highlights include solo performances with the RYO, soprano soloist for Vivaldi’s Gloria and Handel’s Messiah, and performing the new work ‘Rise Up’ by Gerard Brophy, commissioned for the Bathurst Carillon.
